We Do Not Protest The Protesters
Yesterday something totally new and different happened to me and it was astonishing as well as amazing.
We went to the pride march and stood on the steps of the capital with signs of love and support for those in that community.
There were protesters there and I've decided for the entirety of my lifetime I will never protest the protesters.
What can you say to them to change their minds? Nothing.
They believe they are right and it's just the way it is.
It's alright. I don't have to respond. I refuse to make myself look crazy to those who don't know me trying to prove a point. Not my style. In this case I believe my silence speaks much louder than words.
I have no desire to shout louder than them whatsoever.
It was totally cool and made me feel so powerful walking away with a smile on their face asking our Daddy to fix their hearts.
All I could keep thinking to myself was "All that love going to waste over something they've wrongly been taught."
I'm choosing happiness, peace, silence, to smile and to pray.
I am a force to be reckoned with even in my silence.
My silence shows more strength than anything I've ever said in my life.
I am changing, I am becoming, I am creating and I am not in debt to any man, not even for a response.
I am changing the way I see the world, the things that come out of my mouth, the things I allow my brain to believe and I have no lack whatsoever in my life.
I need nothing.
I am whole.
I have everything.
I am everything.
I am the kingdom of God and I do not have to respond to those set on insulting and railing and condemning. God does not need me to defend Him.
He needs me to keep looking like His son, Jesus.
Did I tell you how cool I know I look, wearing those sandals and those fine clothes? He may have been homeless but they gambled for His clothes. The man could dress people.
Think about it.
You look like Jesus, meaning you have long hair, fine clothes, sandals on your feet and a beard. :)
I look so cool strolling off.
Nothing to worry about.
Smiling and just easing on down the road.
Nothing wrong with that image of yourself. He's madly in love you with you. He thinks you are so amazing. He wants you to have it all.
People don't erect statues for critics.
Walk away, talk to Big Daddy, keep your peace and your dignity. Love wins.
Can you imagine the train wreck of love that becomes when those hearts discover how wrong they've been and God shows them the people He loves they hurt with their wrong belief?
Boom!
Come Lord Jesus, come!
Spoiler alert. We're all gonna make it!
Nothing can separate us from His love!
